What is the Graduating Senior Survey?
The UC Merced Graduating Senior Survey will ask about topics like your:
- connection to UC Merced,
- perceptions of what you have learned in your major and/or minor,
- experience with campus services (e.g., University Library, Academic Advising),
- co-curricular experiences (e.g., research, community service), and
- post-graduation plans.
The results can be used to improve the effectiveness of different schools’ programs and the campus life experience more generally, which is why student feedback is so important. The results can also help the campus learn about student plans after they graduate as well as how to engage our alumni in activities that benefit current students. The results are used by faculty, School Deans, the Division of Undergraduate Education, Student Affairs, and Alumni Relations.
Who can take the survey?
Seniors who graduated or will graduate during the current academic year – 2023 and 2024. When you go to take the survey you’ll need to log in using your UC Merced NetID to verify that you are eligible to take the survey.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is available between March 31 and May 5, 2023.
Can I receive prizes for taking the survey?
Yes, in addition to providing feedback that can help improve UC Merced, students who complete the survey will automatically be entered into drawings to win free $25 Amazon e-gift cards.
