What is the Graduating Senior Survey?

The UC Merced Graduating Senior Survey will ask about your satisfaction with your major(s) and minor(s) (as applicable) and general progression towards the learning outcomes of your major’s program. The results can be used to improve the effectiveness of different schools’ programs and the campus life experience more generally, which is why student feedback is so crucial. For example, the faculty for each major will receive a report about whether the students believe they achieved the program’s learning goals. Some questions will also ask about: general education, the library, Recreation and Athletics programs, your research experiences at UCM, and your post-graduation plans.

Who can take the survey?

Seniors who graduated or will graduate during the current academic year – 2020-21. When you go to take the survey you’ll need to log in using your UC Merced NetID to verify that you are eligible to take the survey.

How long will the survey take and when can I complete it?

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is available between April 12, 2021 and May 7, 2021.

Can I receive prizes for taking the survey?

Yes, in addition to providing feedback that will improve UCM, students who complete the survey will automatically be entered into drawings to win free $25 Amazon e-gift cards*. There will be 4 drawings, one per week, for a total of 35 gift cards, which is $875! So the earlier you take the survey the more chances you have to win.
