What is the IDEA Project?
-
The IDEA Project is an initiative to help UC Merced design and launch data infrastructure through an incremental build-out approach. This institutional investment in shared data infrastructure will reduce the effort and resources needed today to perform analysis and develop reports. The primary capability delivered by The IDEA Project will be a central infrastructure to store and retrieve data for analysis.

Currently, the scope of the project includes developing the data infrastructure around the Admissions Mart and People Mart. If your work involves the use of data and analytics related to Admissions or the People that live, study, and work at UC Merced, this project should help optimize the reporting related to these domains.
