In 2012, IPA began administering a graduate alumni survey in partnership with multiple units across campus. Going forward the survey will solicit feedback annually from graduate students who completed their degrees one year or more prior to the survey's administration (e.g. for the 2013 survey, graduate students who completed their degrees during the 2011-12 academic year will be invited to participate in the survey). For the first year of administration, all graduate students who completed their degrees during or before the 2010-11 academic year were included. The survey includes questions on post-graduation experiences; particularly work experience, as well as reflection on the UC Merced graduate school experience.
